Dr Barker graduated from Imperial Medical School in 1999 during which time he completed a BSc in Neuroscience at Charing Cross Hospital.  He completed his general medical rotation in Kent and Worcestershire, obtaining MRCP in 2004 and spent one year abroad working in Perth, Australia.

He completed his general Radiology training at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London, obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2007. He also undertook a fellowship in Neuroradiology at The National Hospital or Neurology & Neurosurgery, Great Ormond Street and St. George's Hospitals from 2008 - 2009.

He was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Frimley Park NHS Foundation Trust in 2009. He is a general Radiologist with sub-specialty interest in Neuroradiology and general cross-sectional imaging.
